Andrew R. Bennett, MTS

Adjunct Faculty

Rev. Andrew Rohan Bennett has been an adjunct professor at Pillar College since 2013. He is also an ordained clergy member of the church of the Nazarene, Metro New York District, and President and Founder of Andrew Bennett Consulting, LLC, a leadership development and professional coaching solution. Andrew is an evangelist, Disciple-Maker, an avid student of the New Testament, a religion columnist, community developer, certified coach, teacher, and speaker with The John Maxwell Team.

Rev. Bennett previously served as an adjunct professor at the Bethlehem Moravian College, lecturing in Religious Education Methodology. As a local pastor, he has served with the Missionary Church in various congregations for close to 30 years. During this time, he co-founded and led the BridgeHope Community Development Corporation, an agency ministering to underserved families. He was also a guidance counselor at St. Elizabeth Technical High School, and Director of Passaic County Future Lives Initiative Program, in Paterson, NJ.

Rev. Bennett holds a Bachelor of Arts in Theology from Jamaica Theological Seminary and a Master of Theological Studies (MTS) from Palmer Theological Seminary, Philadelphia. He is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Biblical Studies at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Kansas City, MO. He reads five academic languages (Hebrew, Greek, German, French, and English), and is a member of Christians for Social Action (founded by renowned theologian Rev. Dr. Ron Sider).
