Dr. David E. Schroeder is President of Pillar College in New Jersey and President of MasterWorks, Inc., Prior to that he was president of Nyack College and Alliance Theological Seminary for twelve years, and of Reformed Episcopal Seminary for three years. Dr. Schroeder has been blessed to see healthy enrollment and spiritual growth in each institution. He has also served in missions with International Teams, Trans World Radio and The Christian and Missionary Alliance, under whom he was ordained in 1974, and served as a pastor for ten years. Serving the next generation within a context of spiritual renewal, ethnic diversity and Christ-centered higher education has been his passion for over thirty years.

Academically, Dr. Schroeder has earned the BA in philosophy from Nyack College, the MA in Humanities from Manhattanville College, the STM in Urban Ministry from New York Theological Seminary, and the EdD in Religious Education from New York University.

Author of thirteen books, his most recent ones being Come & Go (2021) and The Lion, the Church, and the Warfare. Dr. Schroeder is not merely a theologian; he is constantly involved in discipling others. He frequently speaks at discipleship seminars and retreats.

He and his wife Betzi have three children and eight grandchildren, and they have recently moved to Jacksonville, Florida.
