Brian Schroeder, MDiv

Vice President of Institutional Effectiveness

M.Div. Nyack College (ATS)
M.A. Alliance Theological Seminary
B.A Simpson University

Brian has always had a passion for Christian higher education and has devoted his life to the furthering of God’s kingdom. He served on staff at a large church in the south shore region of Massachusetts, where he worked with cell groups and oversaw the A/V tech crews. He was hired in 2012 at Pillar College to work in the Student Financial Services Department. In 2014, he transitioned to the role of Registrar. In 2021, Brian was promoted to Director of Institutional Research & Registrar, and in 2023, to Assoc. VP of Institutional Effectiveness.

During his time at Pillar, he began to teach classes in the Bible department as an adjunct and found helping students discover scriptural truths to be a rewarding and fulfilling calling. Brian occasionally teaches at his church and with MasterWorks, where he also serves as a board member.

He has his Bachelor of Arts – a double major in History and Biblical Studies – from Simpson University, a Master of Arts in Old Testament Literature, and a Master of Divinity in Church Ministry, both from the Alliance Theological Seminary at Nyack College. Brian is pursuing a Ph.D. in Advanced Educational Leadership at Regent University. He currently resides near the PA border in western NJ with his wife Sheryl and their four children.
